Wilhelm Nicolaus Prachensky was born on the 23rd of January 1898 in Innsbruck. Coming from a large family of artists the young Tyrolean painter rendered as an officer in the Tyrolean Imperial hunters conscientious. He studied at the Munich Academy under Angelo Jank and co-founded the Tyrolean Artists' Association "The balance ". He traveled to Italy, Bohemia, and Germany. Paintings from his hand were issued in Innsbruck and at the Vienna Künstlerhaus in Tyrolean Provincial Museum. Wilhelm Nicolaus Prachensky died on March 11, 1956 in Innsbruck.
