Rudolf Leitner-Gründberg was born on the 1st of January 1955 in Gründberg in Linz. He studied at the Academy of Applied Arts in Vienna under Bazon Brock and Oswald Oberhuber. Gründberg presented in numerous exhibitions at home and abroad, such as the: Musee des Beaux-Arts (Chartres), Exchange Square (Hong Kong), Lower Austrian Museum, and the Upper Austrian Landesgalerie (Linz). Some major projects in public space led him to Bad Ischl, "The crown Kaiserpark", Linz "The crown on Gründberg" Salzburg Max Gandolf Library, "The Forgotten cloth of time " and in the EU's Berlaymont building in Brussels, "La vita nuova ". Rudolf Leitner-Gründberg lives and works since 1987 in Bubendorf, Municipality Wolfsbach, Lower Austria.
